In fact my 2002 TF135 got her name from her previous owners, 2 super enthousiastic TF owners, who own several TF's, and all have a name
I liked te name of my car, and the story behind the name, so much that I kept it
Because she kept dripping from underneath, when the guys bought her (bad drive shaft seals on the transmission) she was given the name Kinky Kylie
I liked it a lot, so I displayed it under the trunk lid
:yesnod:

lol, "Little Red" and "Bengie" are charming names for car! It's interesting how names can evolve and take on new meanings,

My car doesn't have a name, it just say ..oh darling :drive:

My car is simply referred to as The MG.
Or The Bastard Thing when it’s being troublesome.
The long gone tf was referred to as The Silver One, or Jiggery Pokeary as there was a bit of that before it ended up in my drive.

I previously built a T5 campervan, which i called Lightning, not due to the speed, but the effect on my wallet. Hopefully, I won't have to resurrect the name for the F.

The name I have in mind for her when she is done is Atalanta, as i like the story of her journey to glory after being discarded, rather like my F

You are fond of Greek mythological characters, inspired next to such references as “the blue one”, which was to differentiate that next to “the silver one” during my two MG years.

Mate of mine has been "restoring" a VW Bay camper. It has had much the same affect on his wallet. A few months back - "just a bit of welding and a quick tune up - should be fine". One expensive engine and new interior later its time to sort out the rot and there is plenty to find.
