Off topic but just as a matter of interest the MG Quiz has now

just passed the 50,000 views milestone :woohoo:

Time to get back to Mr F's question;

In 1947 the Y type – although conceived before the war – was produced. What was unusual in the production process?

and his clue;

It was not so much the car chassis and IFS but those, actually, and being somewhat rude, might have connotations and a link if one was a male chauvinistic pig? :omg:

I will never have another question worthy of the quiz but thought I'd have a go anyway :lol:

Does this have anything to do with female employees by any chance? :-?

Mark for Laz

The war was over in 1945 but you are correct.

All the finishers were women

As demobilisation had been running since 1945 I cannot find out why this still continued - obviously due to the war effort men (& women) had been in the services but were returning to civilian occupations so by 1947 one would have thought that, at the least, it might have been a "mixed" line. :-?

Nevertheless CORRECT - so Mark/Laz - Over to you

You've only shown a bit of it, you could have given them a sporting chance, not made them climb a hill to the answer :broon:

No one can get it from that or can they :whistle:

I just hope your facts are a bit more accurate than your knowledge of WWII :P

Come on then some one answer Marks question and lets get a few new questions in over the bank holiday.

We have looked at this car quite recently and found it had become a shade of Cherry

Well, I suppose someone should post an answer.
