I think yours is more correct than mine. but that car is not a "spridget" it is a MGB!!! a Spridget is either an Austin Healey Sprite or an MG Midget, otherwise yours is a better answer.
But it is up to the question master
Think you are due for a turn anyway.

Laz1957 I feel for you, how many times has that happened to me. A very comprehensive answer on the location
There is no stopping Bryan when it comes to MG connections, he is a real force to be reckoned with. As he gracefully said 'Think you are due for a turn anyway' it's over to Laz1957

I don't think you guys will find this too hard
On our continuing tour of Britain this year we ended up here, almost by chance

No guesses yet?
I'll check again a bit later and add another clue if no one gets it.
or are the 'experts' giving everyone else a chance?

I keep hoping someone else can guess it and have a go. I'm running out of ideas.

Connection with the MG? World speed records at Pendine Sands?
The MG Type C, EX127, on 8th February 1932, driven by George Eyston steered the 750cc supercharged "Magic Midget", at a Class H record speed of 118.39 miles per hour at Pendine Sands.
British Pathe report on the event
Mind you BABS was slightly more powerful than the Magic Midget, BABS had a 27-litre Liberty aero-engine

That's it :woohoo:
I only looked into this because of stumbling across the museum on our Holiday this summer. I knew the BABS story but didn't know where the location was.
Further research dug up the MG connection.
George E.T. Eyston, O.B.E., M.C. was a successful businessman, a director of several companies including Castrol, and was also President and Patron of the MG Car Club, Ltd. He was one of the biggest pre war record breakers but seems to have been a bit forgotten by history.
