MG Quiz
laz1957, thanks for the additional information on George Eyston. Yes he is not one the names the man in the street would generally associate with the world land speed record. Good one to know for the 'Pointless' gameshow
I only added info, Leigh Ping got the location, so LP over to you mate.

I'm glad I was wrong because I hadn't got a clue what I'd have posted for a question if I'd been right

Ooops Leigh Ping has just logged off. Just in case I'm correct :silly: :blink: :lol: I don't want to leave you with no challenge to go at, so here is one.
The location, name the vehicle pictured and an MG link or two please;
It's the location of this factory
This is just another clue to the location
0 -50mph in 7.5 secs, 120mph top speed
Triple, SU Carburettors, but this is not the link
Name the car and the link
Good look F'ers (and TF'ers)

Laz1957 :lol: two out of three ain't bad. In fact it's very good, you named the car, hence one link, it's a TF and the other that Rover took over Alvis.
Location, now you're just being lazy. Since this is a 'Guess where it is' challenge I really think I need to hold out for the location.

:silly: A possible MG link was "Scores of portable toilets are also being stored on the Longbridge site nearby. They will be moved to Cofton Park for Sunday’s event."
Read more: here
Lots of links to Longbridge Rover in that park. Union meetings, show events and launch photographs etc.

OK - did a bit more digging and I think it's the Aldis factory, Hollyhead Road, Coventry.
as this was an 'extra' over to Leigh for the next one
