So the alarm goes off whilst loading the shopping in so where is the problem? Itmakrs a noise that no one bothers about these days.
You are in the car waiting for your wife to return with something she has just collected. Rather than get out with the key just use the phone to open the boot (you can turn the ignition on first to prevent the alarm sounding).
Finally, you dropped the keys in the boot then shut it, but you still have the phone in your pocket. Now you can open the boot.

Surely it is all positive.

Which ever way this is approached an actuator has to be arranged to act on the boot release, how it’s activated depends on the interpreter of the problem.
As with cat skinning you always have to start with a cat.
Since the first person trapped their keys in the boot, a method was sought to circumvent the boot key & the central door locking actuator is by far the favourite.
The returning wife with shopping & a key is a recipe for disaster; in goes the shopping, down goes the lid & where have I put the keys? There, in the boot under the shopping where they were put whilst bags were sorted.
Later cars with more advanced Pektron systems had a “boot open” key fob & I am lead to understand that these have been programmed to open an appropriately equipped boot.
But if the keys are under the shopping?
I have a second type of fob which I have configured to open the boot; it remains in my key wallet.
It also operates the garage alarm & opens the doors.
I could do the same with my phone, however the “infrastructure” is more expensive & it can be an absolute pain to get to work, at least in a way that suited my application.
The kit I’m using now took minutes to configure & although not as secure it hasn’t been problematic in any functional way.

I just intend to murder the bastard alarm, once it has been banished, I can open anything I like however I can figure out a way to do it!

You are no great proponent of car alarms & yours in particular.
Why not make a list of the aspects which annoy you most & right down to the thing that makes you the most happy, when you hear that endearing Canada Goose honk.
By doing this you will be able to rationalise your thoughts & become more accepting of the shortcomings which make your old antipodean bones shake.
Who knows there might be a therapy you could undertake or a class you might attend.
It is strategies like this that could bring your boiling point down!
No one, certainly no one on here would want to reduce that to a low simmer, but when one consider your recent cardiological hiatus, anything below the superheated safety valve blow off you experience, has to be good for you.
Flower arranging, that could be just the ticket to a more sanguine future.
As ever, your friend,
M
