Adding Spotlights to MGTF - wiring help needed pretty please!

I could have been more help on this one had I not been resolving some extramural incident. I’ll have a look later & try to take some of the heavy lifting off Cobb’s, who, incidentally, has done a sterling job.
One question, are the tf switches pin compatible with the f, the green plug looks identical but that’s not always the case.

From what I can make out from the diagrams; all wiring should be in place, including the one behind the switch. To commission the system you would need to fit & terminate the lamps, insert the appropriate relay into the vacant space in the passenger fuse box , insert the terminal into the switch. With the headlights & rear fog guard lamps on your spots should work.
I cant help feeling that you have been bamboozled buy the seller & you have further bamboozled yourself in the fitting. Now could be the time to step back & reassess what you have, what need & to approach from a different direction.
Those who know about & understand these things would have it rattled off in next to no time, but if these things don't form part of your discipline you could end up making the very rod that you are now laying across your own back. Don't kick yourself around about it, you did the best thing & that was to ask.

Hi and sorry I have taken a few days to reply - sadly I have been laid up in bed and so not managed to achieve anything at all! My plan is to crack on with it all towards the end of this week! Re: your question - I am not too sure about TF and F switches.. all of mine are the same and the one that came with the pack seems to be the same too....

Hi yes I totally agree - hence why I still genuinely have no real clue what wires to attach where. I think I will add the coloured wires to the back of the switch connector in order shown in the picture/diagram I attached before, but I then don't know on which cables to then piggy back/connect them to?

I went back to the seller who was able to send me the following to 'help' me? Can anyone make sense of it with regard to what I currently have in the car? Thanks ever so much as always!!

Early Fs had different shaped switches to later Fs and TFs.

Ah ok, but I presume the wiring in the back was always the same?
Anyhoo I am not sure my last post had the pic attached - so here are the so called 'instructions' that the seller has sent to me...

Early F switch panel

Later F & TF switch panel

And even though the window lift switches look the same they're actually different

You won’t see many of those early panels in the land of Pom, the exported cars were nearly all equipped with air con, which was an optional extra here. As air con was a bit of a con, on less salubrious vehicles of that time & a costly extra (if my memory serves & stop giggling at the back!)
They’re a bit scarce. I think they look neat & if one popped past at an attractive price, I might just have it about, for when I rework the centre console.
