Hi everyone.

It's probably a bad idea but I really want to try and get this old girl back on the road.

Wish me luck.

That must be the worst case of water ingress I’ve come across on an MG.

You will need to attend to the seal between the top of the windscreen and the roof!
It’ll be the only one that’s dry!

Here in Oz, any car with flood damage is a write off and unable to be registered

You’ll need to attend to other items before you get around to windscreen seals (inanimate)or should that be seals (animate) 🦭

I fear you might be misinterpreting the picture, the water you see is that that has been bailed out of the boot & footwells. Those rear light seals need a good looking at.

Ok.
David and Deborah here and we have owned this F for 16 years,I know that it's going to be hard to get back on the road but I'm going to try.

The car was flooded in 2021 and again to a lesser extent in 2022.

2 weeks prior to the 1st flood I was going to move the car to a unit so that I could work on her but...

As usual ..started 1st time then the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there.

The rebuild has begun.
