The mystery deepens
I have just seen this promotional video for the MG SV which appears to have yet another MG X Power style badge, on the front at least. Pause the video at 39 secs to compare the badge to the ones I posted above.
 John please gives us a clue; hotter - colder - up - down

Just before John gives us a clue to the SV badge question here is the weekly update to the MG Quiz Hall of Fame
For a reminder of the positions last week see here
Special mention goes to Tsleight, who was first in to correctly answer one third of all the week's questions.
Newcomer MartinW has also continued his winning ways and doubles his total.
Here's looking forward to a week with a good clean bout of quick fire interesting MG related questions. Ones that preferably don't require an MG Nerd rating of >95% or Phd in MG obscurity

Thanks for the memory jog PQD44! Went on a couple of times and found no replies and thought everyone was ignoring me ! I now notice all the posts and replies and I'm wanted again !! Anyway, PQD44-you're right (sort of!). Your pictures number 1) is the later and most used badge, it was designed because number 3) which was the plastic badge used on the prototypes was deemed not to be good enough for a car of this quality. Number 2) was then designed, but at a rumoured cost to make of over £300 each was far too expensive, so the answer is THREE! Over to you PQD44!
Oh and any other badges that have been highlighted are either aftermarket or owner fitted. Out of interest, badges as in number 1) do come up on e-bay every now and again and are proper metal and fetch around forty quid a time even now!

Three, blimey, looks like the OEM badge is not that popular judging by the number of variations we have managed to find fitted to SV's.
Back to the quiz and this one should prove slightly easier to research;
A.) Identify the following hardtops, giving the name of the supplier/manufacturer
B.) The price new of the MGF OEM hardtop when it was first offered.
C.) This last bit may prove harder to find, but which company originally manufactured the hardtop for MG Rover?
1
2
3
4
5
Good luck

Wel I'll have a start with A:
1. Honeybourne Moldings.
2. OEM body coloured?
3. Heritage
4. Mike Satur Bermuda - but unfortunately it looks like it was never built...
5. MS standard one with 6 clasps...
