A quote on the IMCDB site states it is probably a restoration as the grille appears to be from an earlier car. Perhaps the more knowledgable could confirm
Over to you Paul
If anyone wants to post a question feel free I am a bit busy for the next couple of hours. If one isn't posted I'll put one up later

will research ~~~ a Mark II would not be 73, Mark 1 was 1962 (hence the 50th birthday this year) and the Mark II followed shortly afterwards like 64 ## will follow up :yesnod:
UHK111, an MG YB saloon, driven by enterprising MG dealer Dick Jacobs, fought it out with the Jowett Javelins for honours in the under 1500cc class and, after some furious racing, Jacobs swept through to take the class victory.
Apart from a change in colour, the MG has survived intact. It is owned today by Marc Hanson, who still competes in her.
In September 2010 she came second in class and was fastest MG at the Brighton Speed Trials picking up the Benn Trophy for the latter - her first trophy for 56 years.
In April last year she competed at the GRRC Members Sprint at Goodwood and shaved a good five seconds of her lap times from the previous year.
On the 31st May she competed in the Crystal Palace Sprint and proved several seconds quicker than the previous year - in fact she was quicker than a Typer 35b Bugatti. In the process she did break part of her rear suspension but due to sterling work in a very short time by Classics and Sportscars of Essex she was ready by the end of the week for..
The Jersey International Festival of Motoring where she won her class on the Moonlight Sprint on St Helier water front, the Westmount Hill Climb and the Mount Bingham Hill Climb. So three more trophies for her.

1952 MG YB (in 1954 racing form)
Engine 1250cc four-cylinder, OHV, two 1.75in SU carburettors
Power 90bhp @ 6900rpm
Transmission Four-speed manual, rear-wheel drive
Steering Rack and pinion
Suspension Front: wishbones, coil springs, lever-arm dampers, anti-roll bar. Rear: live axle, semi-elliptic leaf springs, lever-arm dampers
Brakes Drums
Weight 1041kg
Performance Top speed c100mph. 0-60mph 19sec
‘Stage 2’ tuning, lifted the power and speed considerably from the 46bhp and 71mph of the standard model. It has MG TD-type twin carburettors, plus bigger valves and heavier valve springs and is as it raced at Silverstone in 1953.

Would someone kind enough to step in to keep the ball rolling please?
