MG Quiz
Looks like you have stumped the MG Quiz faithful with your question David, something which has only happened once or twice.
The car in question is the 1935 MG Bellevue Special, built by Willkie Wilkinson on the MG NA that Bellevue Garages hired to various drivers to compete at Brooklands in 1935/36. Converted for the 1937 season into a light weight off set single seater using K Type axles, brakes, aluminium wheels and sleek pointed tail body. It has a 1491cc supercharged engine and races regularly in the UK.
New Question
Here is a question about a much better known MG
I would like you to tell me two things about the car
1) The car was originally grey but the colour was changed to what? Please give the actual shade name
2) Some thing else, very visual, also changed. What was it originally?
Good luck

Old Number One was changed to Cherry Red when the factory rebuilt it (early 30's ?).
The registration became FC7900 in the 50's. It was originally FMO842 on 27th March 1925.
PS: i hadn't been able to find David's special anywhere!!!

I tried hard to find it too, looked all the way through hundreds of cars on prewarcar.com (where the photo came from) even found a video of it racing and its not listed very well in the MG pre war racers either. It was a good question and i even had another lined up (if i won!!!)

Apologies for the delay!
1. Who was the first Private Owner to race at Le Mans and in what?
2. What was his follow-up car and what production model did its design lead towards?
