If you have a question Tsleight, post away, I only have an easy one.
Turned to the Darkside, K&N Apollo and extra bling fitted.52mm TB
Well done Tsleight, the winner of the 200th MG Quiz question and commiserations to Gadget2466.
Yes, Daryl Davies runs the Moto-build Racing and also supplies a whole range of parts for MG - Rover vehicles see his site, click here .
The Moto-build Racing website is well worth a look, but be warned it may get you thinking of more darkside modifications
Tsleight, it's over to you.

...Is it the village of Midsomer? It must be the most dangerous village in England, people are always having terrible accidents there
Good question looks like an interesting MG story will be unfurled, no time now if it's still here I'll have a go tonight.

I am surprised there is anyone left in Midsomer, as they loose around 3 or 4 each episode!!

I got my bonnet from his house, he was breaking a couple of F's
Who: Harry Clayton
When: 1938
Where: Off the banking at the side of the Brooklands track.
Harry Clayton was driving a borrowed MG, when he was knocked off the banking at Brooklands by a fellow competitor. The fourth photo in Tsleight's post shows his leather crash-hat after hitting the concrete. Harry Clayton suffered multiple fractures but survived the accident and went on to live into his nineties.
Assuming that the above is the correct answer, here is the new question. Take a look at the following photos;

By Jove, I think I've got another one, now let me make sure everything is answered properly so that no-one can jump in a steal the victory away again......
I believe the link is Mr James Dean.
Some more Detail:
Picture 1 being the red MG ( I am not too good with the various T Series, but I will opt for a TD) He sold this after owning it for 6 months, if he had kept it perhaps the more sedate pace would have kept him alive a little longer!!!
Picture 2 is the Lotus Type 10, Ordered but never actually owned as he never actually took Delivery of the car according to Lotus Archives.
Picture 3, Triumph T110, he also owned at various times a 1947 Czech Whizzer. Jimmy also owned an English cycle, a Harley, a 500cc Norton, an Indian 500, an Italian Lancia scooter. His T110 had a custom paint job of "Deans Dilema" painted on the side
Picture 4, If in colour this would be the white ford Station wagon with wood panelling, the actual model I think is a second Generation Ford Country Squire
How did I do????? :woohoo:

Dean owned a 1953 Red MG TD, a 1955 Triumph T110, a 1955 Ford Country Squire station wagon amongst others.
In July 1955 he also ordered a Lotus IX which was to be delivered in October. James Dean died in Sept., 1955.
Back to you for the next question.
