While googling MG Addiscombe I came across this website http://www.mgcaravans.com/. Would have made a good answer if they weren't based in Hertford!

Now I suppose it would have nothing to do with Alfred Road Oxford (original home of MG - before it became Pusey Road) and Alfred Road, SE25 5LE - although, technically, I suspect that is South Norwood - I being a country lad don't know any better!! I can't see any MG's parked but there is an MX5 outside no 20!! Oh well, I tried (and failed)

I may be old but I’m not senile:-
It’s just that I can’t remember whether it’s Alzheimer’s or Amnesia

Has a link with Alfred Road, Oxford, your favourite road I believe Ted :yesnod:

But for the link Hari is after you need to link it with Chorlton upon Medlock

I spent hours last night on google. I managed to find a John Axe who got married in Chorlton upon Medlock before the First world War and died while living in Addiscombe Road, Croydon. I was hoping to link him with Roy Axe Co designer of the MG EX-E concept car but I've failed miserably. :(

Not on the right lines I'm afraid :nonod:

Clue time: What links the district of Addiscombe, London, black cabs and MG?

Ooops  sorry guys, but the good news for me is I still have a good question ready to be rolled out :bust:

We have had a look at black cabs and MG before. Last time it was to do with parts. Black cabs have used parts from MG's Like the rear lights from the MG 1100 or the heater from the MGB.

I think this time could it have to do with the coachwork and a company in Coventry?

The former Carbodies Limited, based at Holyhead Road, Coventry, which started business as a coachbuilder, and now, as The London Taxi Company is now best known for its production of London taxicabs.

However, in their earlier days they made dozens of different bodies for MG cars, including most of the earlier models.

Addiscombe, London - something to with London taxi dealer Mann and Overton, the company Carbodies negotiated with to get the Black Cab contract? Haven't been able to find a firm Addiscombe link to Carbodies or Mann & Overton yet :nonod:

Before I go completely bonkers is this along the right track this time? :bust:

I am amazed that I have even been able to stump the mighty Paul!

The link I am after is a person and the particular MG in question is a Midget.

Being able to stumo me is no victory Hari, I get stumped 10 times a day :P

OK the MG Quiz devotees have all sat quiet, or been driving around in the great weekend weather, either way I think it's time ffor a clue or two Hari. The three words so far have not shed any light on your person or their Midget.

I had no idea this would be such a difficult one!

Ok, so to review:

We want to find a person that links Addiscombe with a black cab and a blue MG Midget. Oh, and a pink Range Rover.

Here is a clue as to the person's name:
