I have found the car on the web at Robin Lawton.com and Craig is correct.
The answer to the the last bit, on 25th Feb 2012 a 1934 PA Midget sold for £36,500.00 at Silverstone Auctions.

I'm not normally so detailed in answers, but as it was Bryan's question.................................................................

:woohoo: Very well done Craig another superb correct answer and before Gadget who found the similar one that was Auctioned. You obviously know your MG stuff to know that it belongs to Brenda Adams, it is a beautiful car.
Here is a picture of her and co-pilot at the Royal Windsor MG Heritage Festival in 2009, she was also at the MG Car Club summer gathering last year, even in the racing garb. she is no longer allowed to enter pride of ownership because she always wins.
Now it is your turn for one of your great questions :yesnod:

Thank you for this, and i didnt know that this car had actually been sold, it would be interesting to know how much it went for. i found a similar one (same colour) but different registration going to auction for £35000, but cant find it again :slapme:
I should really give you both a joint win, but as Craig is still asleep, i will let you fight over it.

I'll graciously let our Antipodean friend take the honours.

Sorry it is a bit late in the day, To help Craig out with a question:
Can you Identify this concept car.
Who Designed it
What is the eventual link to MG's
Where are the protoypes now?

It’s the Alec Issigonis 1967 designed Mini 9X – the Pinnfarina mock up
The car on the left is a mock-up built by Pininfarina, while on the right is the later road-going prototype
The one prototype produced can still be seen at the British Motor Heritage Museum at the former Rover HQ at Gaydon.
I suppose the eventual MG link could be the MG Metro or, possibly the fact that the engine design used overhead cam with cam belts instead of chain (as in K series engine) and aluminium alloy was used for the cylinder head and sump and cast iron for the engine block – again as for K series (I think – I am a technician not an engineer!!!)

Hey, the Old boys back in form.......
Spot on. Looks like you found the same website I did.
Just to clarify the MG Link, yes it was in the form of the 6 Cylinder MG Metro at Gaydon - Must pay another visit there, it is only up the road!
Your turn Mr Forgetful.

Thank you Gadget - I went to Gaydon last about 20 odd years ago - had just got a Disco V8 and went from Tintagel to Nolfolk via Gaydon - took the kids on the Gaydon cross country in a Disco there (driven not permitted with own car) - fabulous -ahhh those were the days.
As you all love my complicated ones, this one is simples
Anyway the question is as follows -
Look carefully, all will be revealed - or will it. Model of car please. Thank you
