I'm stuffed: that was my best shot!

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Despite the MG sounding name and using an MGB as the donor car, the NG TA is styled on the 1930 Aston Martin International.

The NG TA

Aston Martin International 1930

The original RMB Gentry was styled to look like an MG and even used genuine MG TF wings but had a Triumph Vitesse chassis and 1600 engine.

Sorry John, from the original question I would have put in the same answer as you.

Another very interesting question Martin, thank you.

Just out of interest, the award winning NG TA pictured above is currently for sale for £3750 Click here to view

At the same venue there was a car MartinW has always wanted ..

a very rare Gilbern MG,

along with a couple of A's, a couple of Midgets, a YB and a 6R4.

But none of these were the MG in question.

Another clue to the venue

Well, lets see if we can help - yes help, as I have to go out (for a golf match - yes!!)

The Crystal Palace TV transmitter, some reptiles from my garden pond, Usaine Bolt winning the 100 meters at the 2012 Olympics, A "White Knight " who drives a dual fuel MGTF and an online game by MMORPG very popular in Korea, Turkey, Iran, Japan, United States and Europe although it appears to have different names for different locations.

I don't know - is it the EX179 because that was a change from the Ex 175 based on the EX 172 based on a modified TD chassis? Reason being that the idea is Insane (Bolt) and the original crystal palace burnt down and, and the Olympic Stadium rose from the ashes of an earlier dockside development!! I have NO IDEA Paul.

Still I log in when I get back tonight!! :bang: :bang: :bang: :coat:

:bust: Some of that made sense, not a lot, but some.

Yes this is to do with Crystal Palace, a sprint and a Knight, but not a male Knight.

Leigh has something in common with her ...find the Knight and the link will become clear :yesnod:

I was going to punt that the link is MGA Coupe:
CP transmitter opened in 1956
Coupe launched in 1956
assuming Mr P is as old a fart as me and born in 1956? ( sorry if not, Leigh!)
Clueless about the knight bit though!

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
