WARNING !
Do not drive with the hood lowered
unless the hood cover is fitted - the
hood cover is designed to protect
occupants against accidental injury
from hood folding mechanism.
Whilst on the subject of folding the hood down, the handbook also states;
IMPORTANT
ALWAYS unzip the rear screen if the hood
is to be lowered for longer than 24 hours.
You do hear some say unzip the rear screen every time you fold the hood. I never unzip the rear screen as I never have the hood folded down for more than 24 hours at a time. I do however make sure the screen is supple enough on very cold days or nights and do make sure the screen folds smoothly without any sharp folds.
Have seen people using a piece of foam pipe insulation or the large swimming aid coloured sticks so the screen folds smoothly.

It was to protect occupants - especially when decelerating rapidly - from any injury from the hood mechanism.
Well done everyone :hugs:

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

The MG SA or MG 2-litre was a sporting saloon produced by the MG Car company from 1936 to 1939. Launched as the 2 litre, it only later became known as the SA, the car had been originally planned as an advanced performance saloon to rival the likes of SS Cars (later to be known as Jaguar) and even Bentley with all independent suspension and was given the factory code of EX150 and designated the S-type.

The model numbers of the cameras give EX150. It's wrong but the model numbers are important :yesnod:
Here is a reminder of the question

The car I'm after has something in common with the one the gold and bronze winning triathlon Brownlee brothers posed with.
